MICHAEL HAWKINS

Michael is a seasoned transportation industry executive with expertise in Logistics Management, Operations Management, Organizational Leadership, Process Improvement, and Decision Making. With a passion to deliver projects complete, on-time, easy to use and on-budget.

His 40-year tenure at CSX and its predecessor railroad spanned positions including Superintendent of Operations, Director of System Production, Regional Director of Process Improvement, GM Automotive and Intermodal. He also had the distinguished honor of leading CSX's Network Operations and Unit Train Operations groups.

Most recently, he co-founded RailxRS and MidInfra Capital Partners LLC to revolutionize rail infrastructure investing.

Michael's key accomplishments include leading CSX's One Plan effort to optimize its complex operating plan; Next Generation Dispatching implementation; decentralize its Network Operations Dispatching to Division locations; Initial PTC development; Coal and Bulk operations reorganization, and CSX's efforts to acquire Cando Rail and Terminals.

In addition to Michael's professional track record, he served as Chair to Florida's Economic Development Council.

Michael also holds a B.A. in Business Management in Marketing, an MBA, Six Sigma BB and MBB designations.
